I was going to do the lace motif on the front where it is absent from the back, but that was before I noticed how the sweater is constructed and learned that Thea, in her infinite wisdom, omitted the lace around the arms for sanity. I learned even later that this is a contiguous set-in sleeve pattern and I’m not a huge fan, so maybe Thea will convert me. They just don’t fit well. I have learned I need to read pattern descriptions, lol.

This fits quite well, actually! The neck is bigger than the picture, which had me worried, but it isn’t huge, so it’ll do. I scrounged some buttons up from my “stash” of extra buttons I bought for other sweaters. I might change my mind about them later, but they do the job fine for now.

Named for fun.’s song “Be Calm”. I might change it with more listening, but as I heard it today (months after finishing this sweater!), I immediately thought of this nice, cozy, calm sweater. :)
