I recently saw an episode of ‘Coast’ where Neil Oliver visited the Faroe Islands. It inspired me to dig out Folk Shawls and try a Faroese. The idea is to have a lovely warm winter wrap.

I can’t find this particular yarn on the Rav database - it was bought years ago when Colourmart was ebay-only. It’s labelled 1/5 and I believe was called ‘Braided Cashmere DK’ when I bought it. It’s very fluffy but sturdy.

It measures over 7 feet in the wingspan. I’m so happy with it. I love the Faroese style - it really is so warm and convenient and it does stay on the shoulders.
