These Lovebud Vines are based on a variation of the usual Love Knot stitch (a.k.a. Lover’s Knot, Solomon’s Knot). Two beading methods combine to give the "bud" effect.

My design goal was to see how my beads of similar colors go with the same yarn color so each Vine shows four different bead colors with the same yarn color. (My goal wasn’t actually to make a necklace, but it’s interesting to style them as one. These are color references for me, and a way to catalog my bead colors.)
