This design has a story that started in May 2014. Blog post also explains the other swatches shown here.
This is a variation of my “Star Stitch & Love Knot” stitch pattern that is self-edging and is a multiple of 4 + 1.
As a long scarf it reminds me of Pallas, one of my older designs, but I’m looking forward to seeing it wrapped like a ring scarf.
It’s at the point where I need to block it so that I can seam it, get better photos of it, and evaluate whether I need to go into a second skein or not.
I love it. It has really buoyed my spirits lately. I was also able to pick up good crocheting speed wit it.
Done, pattern’s written and being tech edited, and I love wearing it. I love the textures up near my face. I wear mine as a scarflet with overlapping ends over my neck and chest.
Considering adding some repeats with a coordinating dove-colored handspun angora. (I swatched a white angora and it’s too thick.)
