This little 1-ball wrap will get the steek treatment as a final flourish! I designed it for the class I’ll be teaching this July 14th in Charleston SC: Steek (Cut) Tunisian Lace for Fun Fast Fashions.

Once I added a few beaded shells, it started reminding me of Ancient Egyptian drawings of lotus and papyrus. I now have the name for this design! Seshen is Ancient Egyptian for “lotus”. (Isn’t it cool that it’s also the ultimate origin of the name Susan?)
