I decided to do the rolled/1x1 rib combined brim. I did 3 full pattern repeats and rows 1 and 2 before entering the crown decreases.

4/2/10: UGH! So I cast on 70 stitches instead of 72 last night. I’ll blame it on lack of sleep. (I counted three times! I swear!) I didn’t notice this “issue” until the increase row. I ripped the whole thing out and put it away. I don’t feel like looking at it anymore tonight.

4/6/10: I’m into the body of the hat. Maybe knitting this with size 6 needles wasn’t such a good idea. It’s very tight.

4/7/10: I’m not ever going to win with this one, am I? I discovered a misplaced yo today. So here I am, at work, undoing two rounds. Yay!

4/11/10: I’m finished. I was surprised that I could finish this hat with less than one 120 yd skein of Sugar n’ Cream. The hat seems a bit small, so I hope it stretches with blocking.
