A return to crochet as an alternative craft, since my knitting is devoted to making hats, and I’ll need some squares in each package for S.A. to offset the donated hats.

Since I’m nowhere near proficient in crochet, I’m starting here to build my KAS repertoire :-)

MODS: Since I’m stuck working with acrylic worsted (= what’s locally available), I want to practice with as large a needle as practicable, to make a soft fabric.

First round = I - makes a neater, small center than the J size I chose for overall, which at 6 mm is equivalent to the US 10 knitting needle that’s my standard for worsted garter stitch squares.

Was listed as w.i.p. since I wanted to make more of these - at least one in each of my acrylic worsted colors. I discovered, though, I prefer knitting - especially as the results are thicker and smooshier.
