Notes

Gotta get this going for summertime and commuting. Making the welts thinner and using a larger needle for a lighterweight fabric.

CO 90 st on US 6 = 4.25 cm circular needle
Brim: On US 4 = 3.5 mm needle, 6 rows K3, P3 ribbing in the solid turquoise cotton.

Switch to US 7 = 4.5 cm and Chirimen.
Increase row: K6, yo - repeat to end of round.
Start pattern: 2 rows purl in Chirimen,
2 rows knit in cotton, then 1 row knit in Chirimen.

EtA - the brim - ribbing in all cotton - got very stretched out (TO 24”) with wearing. Height including brim = 7.5”
