Isaac and Alice are the twin kidlets of a friend and I decided to knit both this sweater, using very different yarns. This not only knocks two baby gifts off the list, but gives me a chance to try out several different varieties of yarns suitable for use on kids’ projects (soft, good stitch definition, machine washable, dry-able, etc.)

Note regarding top part of sweater: When joining the arms to the sweater body, place the markers as the pattern indicates, even though it seems assymetrical to you. The way in which the decreases are worked will make it all even out properly. So even if it seems wrong, it’s not!

Had 29g of yarn left over, which translates to 60 yds. So it took me 356 yds (326m) to make the 12-18 month size.
