The yarn for this stole was spun from Cormo top from sheep raised by a friend from my weaving guild. The top was processed by Stonehedge Fiber Mill

I used a Jenkins 18 gr. Aegean spindle to spin the singles. Most of the spinning was done during trips to our cabin in northern Michigan. The yarn was plied on the Schacht Matchless wheel, using the high speed whorl. The yarn averaged about 2,800 ypp.

The finished shawl weighs 4 oz. and measures 16” x 80”. I used 5 pattern repeats across the shawl.
