This is the 3rd time I’ve knit this shawlette. It was knit as a prayer shawl for a friend who has had some struggles with her family this year, particularly the failing health of her aged mother and her sister who is also the mother’s caregiver.

As you can see the color is a vibrant red! I was pleased with the way this yarn worked up into the lace pattern. The shawl has a lovely drape. I did not block it the way I would for a shawl with wool content. Instead I just finger blocked it into place after washing.
