I chose this simple garter stitch lace pattern with a 12 stitch repeat and cast on 69 stitches. There were 5 border stitches on the right and 4 on the left to center the pattern stitches.

I knitted away until it seemed long enough, then cast off. The cast on edge has a scallop to it. The bound off edge does not…..even though I hoped it would.
