Since I started working as a game supporter I have been working with a lot of data in Excel which I coloured in to distinguish them. After sorting them by certain criteria they appeared in stripey patterns which I at some point named scarf patterns.
M (my bf) asked me to make him one of those scarfs, so we went to a yarn store, picked the four most used colours in those spread sheets and one of my ‘scarf patterns’.
The scarf is knit in garter stitch with an icord border left and right.
For the hat I picked similar looking sock yarns and Sabrina Schumacher’s Dingle Mütze which I modified a bit.

I finally managed to finish the hat (which I consider a quarter of the the whole project) and I really hope it fits his head. Otherwise I will have to come up with a new idea for that…

When I finished the hat I started knitting the scarf and I am very pleased how quickly it knits up and how easy it is to memorize. Also I love how the colours harmonise together.
M likes the hat so much that he requested a second one. Good thing this panoptikum is long enough for three hats

Second hat - this time made from leftovers of the yarn I used for the scarf. That should complete the set.
