My first real lace project!

I found the lace charts as provided on Knitty somewhat of a challenge (especially Chart 3). Luckily I found this forum post which explained the issue. I only bothered with one lifeline while I was doing it; the rows aren’t too difficult to tink back if you need. Now I’m just slogging through the middle section of the scarf, which thankfully is just an easily-memorised 2-row repeat.

UPDATED THREE YEARS LATER: Good grief, did it really take that long? The scarf is finished and has been entered in the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Once the Show is over, it’ll be delivered to its recipient - my wonderful friend Kriti Sahni Ramchandani - as her long-delayed wedding gift!
