After ignoring my Aspen coat for weeks on end while I concentrated on sewing projects, I finally finished it!

I created and inserted a sewn fabric lining and what a great idea that was. Having a lining sewn into the coat gives it some much needed stability, so the shoulders stay put and I don’t have that feeling that it is going to slide off my shoulders that I often get with heavy knitted sweaters and coats.

I could not be more delighted with this garment. A great pattern knit from a very yummy wool!
