08/27/15…yup, this yarn can be machine washed and dried. Love, love, love this yarn.

Unblocked measurements: 28.5H x 29.5W
Wet blocked: 28.5HX28.5W
Washed and dried: 28H X 29W

08/25/15…and ends are wove in. just need to block. Incl a pic of the back…I am getting really good at the finer points of knitting (weaving ends, color transition, cast of/on, edges). The back looks good if i do say so myself! :)

08/24/15…note to self, should I make this again with this yarn, i would drop down a needle size. Also would do 3 colors: one for the 4 corners, one for the middle blocks and one for the center.

• Highly recommend the sandwich bag thing…it does a great job of being a small yarn bag. you will zip the bag almost closed. this allows for a “controlled” pull of yarn. this method made it easier to untangle as i came to each new ball and it kept the yarn from barfing all over the place and kept it clean.

• turning from rs to ws = clockwise

• turning from ws to rs = counter clockwise

• Chain edges: sl 1st st pw, p the last st
