This shawl is the super-goodness. Simple pattern + Fun to knit + Possible to knit while drunk = Perfect project for social knitting.

The wedges add texture and movement and I adore the unevenly-sized eyelets you get from not wrapping the short rows. They give the whole thing a slightly tipsy edge that’s so much cooler than it would be if they were uniform. And that pop of colour from the I-cord edge. Sensational.

Cast on during Knit August Nights 2015 as my project for Holland Road’s yellow AND selfish knitalongs.

Casting off took a while - it sat for a fortnight while I prevaricated on which colour to use. Eventually I let social media choose (thank you all - the Sinatra is fab).
