Notes

Everything that people say about this cowl knit in Malabrigo being a hug for your neck? It’s all true. Butter soft, squishy and warm. I have no fear of winter, now.

I really didn’t enjoy knitting my first honey cowl last year. But I was determined to have one for myself, so finally drummed up the will to cast on another.

And I’m so pleased I did.

This time around I worked it in the recommended needle size instead of dropping down, and it’s so much smooshier. The lushness of the fabric just kept me coming back for more. It almost knit itself in double quick time. Far from boring me, it was a positive delight every time I picked up the needles.

210 stitches. Finished dimensions: 77 x 20cm, blocked but not stretched out at all. This is the perfect amount of drape to loop twice around my neck without making me feel too claustrophobic. Love it.

7/4: Cast on for Lights Up knitting. Looking at the rain and wind raging outside, I wish it was finished already!
