The contrast yarn in this project is some unidentified superwash wool from Puckerbrush Farms, purchased at Rhinebeck 2011. My roommate bought it, and the ball band went MIA almost instantly.

I’m using the Alpaca Earflaps hat pattern has a base for the body, and using the chart from this headband for the moose. Also, I put stars on the earflaps. My roommate loves stars.

2/10/11 - Five more rounds left on the moose chart. Then it’s just onto the crown and the tassels and the pom-poms.

2/11/11 - DONE.

Mods - In the main hat pattern, I didn’t increase at the center of the earflaps, because the moose pattern worked perfectly on 108 stitches. That means I also didn’t decrease at the center of the two earflaps after ending the moose chart.
