January 22, 2013: I still love the yarn. I still love the pattern. I don’t love them together. It’s too hard to see the overall pattern with the intense variegation of the yarn, so they’ll separate and both become something else and be better for it.

Ohymygod, I love this yarn so much. It's a little splitty, but the color is so fantastic that I'll forgive it.

Sept. 6, 2009: So I'm still continuing my torrid affair with this colorway. Not so much with the way the yarn tries to unply itself, but again - colorway = teh ossum, so it stays. What is not teh ossum is in my total inability to follow written directions. Had to frog the second colorwork motif because I don't read before I do things.

Jan. 03, 2010 Never put down a colorwork project for four months, come back to it, and expect it to be perfect, because it won't be. Just had to frog everything I've knit today because I added an extra row to the bottom of the snowflake and it was bothering the hell out of me.

Feb. 15, 2010 Good lord. Working on these for Ravelympics, and I cannot figure out what they want me to do for the thumb for the life of me. I'm just gonna make it up and accept that the first mitt will have a wonky thumb.
