Michelle, my EBIL Roomie from college, is having a baby! She told me nice and early so I could start knitting. :)

Making the sweater in Simply Soft, because Michelle barely has the patience to vacuum, let alone hand-wash a baby sweater. Hopefully to be accompanied by a matching hat and booties. And maybe baby mittens. Tadpole is due on Valentine’s Day 2011.

Sept. 4, 2010: Needs half of a sleeve and a button band. And buttons.

Oct. 5, 2010: Just needs the buttons sewn on & the button loops crocheted!

Oct. 9, 2010 Exactly a year after I made the sweater, it finally fits the baby! Please ignore the fact that her mother put it on her inside-out. :P The baby is still adorable. And the sweater still fits. Score one for Aunt Jaime.
