blocked it is 230 cm x 52 cm now… and I like it

Finished and unblocked, the size is now 210 x 62 cm
will see how it looks when blocked

I liked to knit it, but at the end it became a little monotone

was a good project when travelling

Jetzt ist der Schal fertig. Ungeblockt ist er 210 cm lang und 62cm breit, wird wohl noch länger sein nach dem Spannen.

War angenehm zu stricken, am Ende etwas langweilig, ein gutes Projekt für eine Reise

I enjoyed a wonderful sunny day in Riga today and so I sat in the parks and knitted.
The shawl is very easy to knit and the pattern is easy to memorize.

An einem schönen Sonntag in Riga habe ich im Park gesessen und weiter am Schal gestrickt. Strickt sich gut und leicht und das Muster ist auch leicht zu merken,

I needed a knitting project for my trip to Riga and Tallinn. And I did not want to take my WIP-sock-projects with me, it is summer now… So I choose the really red yarn which I bought in Riga last year, at the factory outlet and I started to knit.

Ich brauche ein Strickprojekt für meine Reise nach Riga und Tallin. Und meine angefangenen Socken-WIPs möchte ich nicht mitnehmen, die sind zu winterlich

also habe ich das feuerrote Garn herausgesucht, das ich letztes Jahr in Riga in der Wollfabrik “erwühlt” habe und auch schon angefangen

wie immer sieht Lace-Muster auf den Nadeln krumpelig aus..
