this is the first time that I knit from a Kit.
It is a kit from the Nordic Knitters. Külli Jacobson is the head knitter of this union and I met her first time at the mediaval market in Tallinn, July 2015.
“KNIT YOUR OWN ESTONIAN MITTENS” knitting set WAS CHOSEN AS AN ACKNOWLEDGED NEW PRODUCT AT 2015 MARDILAAT handicraft fair in Tallinn, ESTONIA and Külli Jacobson was given a quality certificate at that fair as well. Just now she received the keeper of national heritage award and so it is clear why I name my project “Külli” ;=)
The kit contains 2 balls of wool, a pattern, needles and a really nice project bag, so I will move to the couch now and start with the scalloped cuff.

Mittens out of the box ;=)
I finished them today and I noticed when I knitted them that they will be perfect for my beloved husband, I gave them to him, but I cannot knit snow, cold and winter… so these mittens have to wait for the next real winter!
Nun sind die Handschuhe aus der Kiste… heute sind sie fertig geworden und ich mag sie, sie passen meinem Mann perfekt - fehlt nur der Winter, den kann ich nicht herbeistricken
aber irgendwann wird es ja wieder kalt!
