Using purple for the brim and tealy color for the main part of the hat. Unless it looks really bad.

Week 1: Doing the button brim version as written with purple.

Week 2: Manipulated the number of brim stitches so my x would be a whole number. I ended up adding two.

Because I am using a contrasting color for the main part of the hat I did a knit round before the setup.

One repeat has already yielded me a super slouchy hat… Is it Friday yet?

Week 3: Finished! I improvised on the decreases a little toward the end. My last two rounds I did ssk, sk2p, and k2tog where appropriate to mimic the twisted stitch pattern and continued the ssk decreases on the rest of the hat. I ended with 11 stitches.

Need to block and add buttons.
