My 3rd Still Light! The first one is too small and the second one is nearly worn out…
I chose merino this time, with a few mods.
Made 2 extra short rows to shape the neck line and dropped the button in the back. I´ll shape the armholes differently and the plan is to try to shape it a bit straighter and make the ribbing longer.
My gauge is 27 sts = 10 cm. The pattern says 26 sts. But I think the merino creates a more stretchy fabric than the alpaca, so I´ll follow my plan to make a size M-L. My aim is to make an oversized sweatshirt like long sweater/dress. The color of the yarn is perfect!
8th May: Ragland increases (according to size M) the last 8 increases: every 3rd row. Did 2 more increase rows, every 2nd row.
Dividing for body: 277 + 97 + 97. Created 5 sts. under each arm = back: 138 sts. front: 139 sts.
27 cm from the top at back: started increasing front pleats; 38 sts from each side.
From top back it measures 63 cm before starting the ribbing.
Ribbing: 15 cm
26th Dec: pockets and one arm done!…on my last arm.. might finish this year:)
