Cast on 48 sts (24,12,12) on 3 x 3mm dpns
Rib the cuff
move last stitch of needle 3 across to needle 1 (needle 1 now has 25 sts.
Knit heel flap:
K3, (sl1, k1 to last 3 sts), k3, turn
Sl1 purlwise, k2, p to last 3 sts, k3, turn
Sl1 purlwise, k2, (sl1, k1 to last 3 sts), k3, turn
Repeat last 2 rows until 12 sts can be picked up along the edge.
Turn heel:
K13, k2tog, k1, turn
Sl1purlwise, p1, p2tog, p1, turn
Continue until 12 sts across heel.
Pick up 12 sts each side.
Decreases to 48 sts
