All though I made this a little over 5 years ago. I only wear this neck warmer with a turtle neck shirt, and sweater under my coat. The body is not long enough to protect the rest of your neck or chest. If I ever do this pattern again I would make this longer to protect the chest as well.

This was knit up quickly. Instead of BO, I use the short row method as Pollie suggested, and BO with an
I-Cord BO to make the body on the bottom sturdy, and give it a polish look

What does a short row, Sweet Tomato heel have to do with a short. This method can be applied to any short row in a knitting.

I made it longer, and place 2 holes so it would make the piece sturdy, and underneath would not slip. Instead of garter, I used the seed stitch at the end.
