12-31-09: Ooops. Not the right size, so I’ll have to fix it. Didn’t fit over Cara’s head.

2-6-10: I haven’t touched this since NYE (cannot make it a smaller percentage than 5%). Going to frog the lot and start at a bigger stitch count a la etcgirl’s Incognito:

For women’s (med) casting on 84 sts, for men’s (lg) casting on 90. Still working turned cuffs in 4.5 mm, body in 5 mm.

2-27-10: Finished! Started … two days ago, I think. Ended up casting on backward loop style, except for some reason I did 88. Toward the middle of the cowl, I decided it was too wide and decreased 4 sts every 4 or 5 rows down to 76. I probably could have decreased to 80 and been fine, but it’s good. I had to be slightly creative when it came to duplicate stitching the Poirot-stache on, due to a well-placed decrease, but I made it work. It’s pretty sweet, and it will be in the mail on Monday.
