Started this years ago, and got about 10 squares done and then put it up in the closet. I bought this pattern to learn stitches as it was when I first learned to crochet. I finally just pulled it out of the closet and in the last month ripped out the prior work (mostly) and have it just about finished.

Edit to add: I did not follow the directions or pattern since on a lot of the “white” colors they had a lot of lace. I wanted it to be a little more solid so I made up a few along the way. Also, the photos this thing looks warped but once I washed it, it lays totally flat. I started this years ago and it sat in the closet. It measures much larger than the pattern as I added a HDC border 3x around each square and finished it off with another 3x hdc border. It isn’t perfect but it is well loved if you knew the history. I might update later to tell the tale but for now… nighty nite :) XO
