Notes

so, when i started i thought the entire pattern was worked on the odd rows, i now know that that was not the case! so i marked the places where i would have to do the knit rows!

7-8-10
1/4 of the way thru! i fudged up a little but i am fine now!
7-9
so its 2am, and i have only now just finished the first page! u have switched from the 5 dpns to a 24 in circular, and then had to change again to my 36 inch! i am running out of room! oh and another thing, the first page really ends on row 67!
7-10
4am on a saturday, the saturday before i leave for camp. im tired and had to stop because my pillow, which is filled with scraps of foam and fabric ( i like super tough pillows!) decided to explode! covering my bed with scraps of crap!
i got to row 90 and decided to call it quits for the night, and i will pack when i get up, and do a few more rows!
7-15, so i have 28 rows to go, i have taken a few personal days, and i am ready to finish by hopefully friday so i can show off the shawl before camp is complete, everyone has been either cheering me on or looking at me like the antisocial bitch i am turning out to be… i noticed that fingering weight yarn is very difficult to do something this size on a size 6 32” cirular…but in lace it isnt so heavy…
7-17
after knitting like the crazy bitch i am, i finally finished it. it is beautiful! i blocked it in the temple so i could let the beauty be admired and not disturbed. one of my supervisors watched the whole thing. it was wonderful to be done with it! i will let it dry for the night, and pick it up in the morning. pics are coming soon!
i unfortunately didnt have enough yarn to finish the shawl in 1 colour, but i found this super soft merinofingering yarn that worked well enough, i will sew in the ends once the shawl is dry.

After camp, i was at wits end of what to do with the shawl, i didnt want to sell it, so i decided that i would give it to Grace Sterling Stowell as a gift from the youth to for BAGLY’s 30th anniversary party, which i missed because of work, but from what i heard she loved it and so did everyone else.
