Pattern works better for me without flat foundation row: cast-on, join in round, work [K1tbl, P1] for 75 sts (ending K1tbl), then Bubble chart.

Once chart was complete, wrapped and turned, and worked hat inside out with knit stitches. Kitchenered to finish top.
