Provisionally cast-on 316 stitches to start sweater at the “Attach the Sleeves” step. Plan is to work up through the chest and shoulders, then pick up provisional stitches and work the body and sleeves down.

Armscye and torso are not long enough; I need 11.25 inches and this is 10.

From sleeve join to shoulder seam, I need 67 rows. I sketched out a number of ways to distribute the sleeve decreases, and my current plan is to work 2 plain rounds between sleeve decrease rounds in sequence 2 & 3.

Casting on again. Third time’s the charm?

Slight departure from pattern: marking first/last body stitches, and doing cdd on that stitch instead of paired decreases either side of marker as written.

Got carried away in Sequence 2, accidentally doing an extra body decrease, but I suspect that will improve the fit for me. Just need to remember to account for the missing stitches when it comes time to do the collar shaping.
