I was so pleased to be able to contribute a design to Mary Jane Mucklestone’s Fair Isle Style, and over the moon when I found out Mirry Dancers made the cover! This sweater is a design idea I’ve had for a while, using a simple geometric form to study the relationships of expected and unexpected color combinations. This created in my mind a shimmery elegant effect reminding me of northern lights. What a treat to be able to explore the full Jamieson’s color range.
