3.5mm needle for ribbing
3.75mm needle for MC rows of crown
4mm needle for colourwork

18 jun - this is actually a bit hard! There is a row of colourwork w all three colours in it. Never knit w three colours in a row before. Fine though. I think the Louisa Harding willow tweed holds the yarns together for the colourwork well.
17 June 17 - buttonhole cast on using 3.5mm needles. Sigh - start again, long tail. 6 rows ribbing.
