28 sept - had started to cast off but no way there was enough yarn :( good call to not do any further stripes. Ripped back to Yukon garter ridge that I had done. Will now do 2 green garter ridges and cast off.
25 sept - picked it up again, no more striping. So kept working in green on the border but worked a purl row where I should have done plain. So now in the border my WS purl row and WS plain row are swapped over. Not a big deal. Other thing is that RS increase row takes place immediately above the garter ridge, instead if mid stocking st but this doesn’t seem to be a big deal. I hope I do get to use up the green on the border though. Should weigh it to see how mic each row weighs and how much I might get out of it.
12 sept - finished the 16 stripes that add up to a medium. what to do now? is it a good balance of pink and green? i’d like to see how the yukon plays out against the green a bit more but i’m keen to also have this finished. if i did the extra stripes, would i have enough green for the border? i’d certainly have enough yukon but don’t want that for the border. might be an idea to put this on a holding thread and block it and actually hold it up on miss bear’s body to check on size …
8 sept - finished the pink alpaca ball and moved I to the green.
4 sep 15 - have never watched this show but am on my way to philadelphia and have cast on in the town car.
