• yarn held double on 4mm needle for large size
• yarn held single on 2.75mm needle for baby
• knit only 12 rows for head
• decr 1 st at beg of last 2 rows of ears and sew ears on with tail of cast on, from the leg, up to head. then use cast off end to gather up side of ear.

2.8 balls for large
1 ball for small

23 dec - all finished
18 dec - finished knitting a baby one from single strand and 2.75mm needle.
17 dec - sewed up and stuffed
16 dec - almost all sewn up but not happy with head/trunk shape, might do that again, decreasing after 6 ridges for the head and decreasing more rapidly.
15 dec 12 - all knit in a day. Bought some woollen embroidery thread at op shop the other day, must check for some appropriate grey for seaming. Also need to embroider on eyes and make tail. Woollen embr thread still in freezer.
