1 mar 10 - knit a couple of rows and switched to a metal addi circ as i realised that the snagging on the join of the bamboo circ was putting me off knitting.

19 apr 11 - am working on it. finished rpt 10 of edging last night and am halfway through rpt 11

9 may - finished rpt 2 of main section. made it to row 215 so i’m calling it 40 per cent for tonight. this is going to be a great size too i think. actually, i think that it’s going to be stunning. have to keep knitting away at it, although i’m really pleased that i managed to knit 5 per cent of it today. that means if i did an equivalent amount every day for 12 days i could be finished … wow.
10 may - only managed 8 pattern rows today; that was a solid evening’s knitting. edge rpt 14 is done.
11 may - edge rpt 15 done
12 may - 45 per cent done and edge rpt 16 complete. tomorrow’s goal is to make it half way. currently measures 80cm in length.
13 may - half way there! also edge rpt 17 done. measures 90cm in length. am going to put this aside for a bit now; i feel as though i have proven that i can get through it and will be able to manage it by the end of the year.
6 jun - edge rpt 18 done. ooooh, rpt 3 complete, took less than a month. 55 per cent done.
7 jun - edge rpt 19 complete.
8 jun - edge rpt 20 complete.
9 jun - 60 per cent done.
10 jun - edge rpt 21 complete.
13 jun - edge rpt 22 complete. 65 per cent of the way there. edge rpt 23 complete too.
14 jun - 70 per cent done. edge rpt 24 complete.
17 jun - rpt 4 complete, took 11 days.
19 jun - finished edge rpt 25
21 jun - finished edge rpt 27; finished half lace repeat
22 jun - done; 27 months to the day.
