23 mar 22 - ripped back to just below colourwork circles and split for body and sleeves at that point (that was the rest of the body, a sleeve and almost a sleeve that I ripped. Painful. But it didn’t fit.) cast on 13sts at underarm. St count good for sleeves (x4) but not body so will have ‘side seam’ through colourwork band on body.

19 mar - back at it! colourwork on one sleeve cuff done plus 2 rounds plain. and halfway through body hem colourwork.
23 jan - washed. Sleeve from underarm to last decr ~29cm, body from underarm 20cm, yoke colourwork is 24 cm = 44cm. Happy. Sleeves to be 33cm. At last decr on 86 rows. Work to 92 rows and check.
9 jan - decrs done
8 jan - seven sleeve decrs done. Full skein finished on sleeve.
7 jan 22 - second decr done on second sleeve
31 dec - sts on needle for second sleeve
30 dec - work final slv decr then work 1 round to in between decrs. place BOR marker there
18 dec - left sleeve: had 81 sts (should have been 82) so just did one decr for first decr round.
28 nov - 24cm to edge of colourwork. + 12.5cm plain stocking st = 36.5cm. Aiming for 43cm.
26 nov - back on the needles. Knit 8 extra rounds to make yoke long enough.
23 nov - extra six skeins of Fairfield Finn arrived
5 nov - what needle size have I been using?? Very annoyed with myself for not recording it. I assume 4mm. Did I go up for colourwork? What did I use for the neck ribbing??
26 sep - chart done!! Hooray!! And very close to end of third skein to boot. Going to wash now.
25 sep - aaaah, just two rows of chart to go but very tired and know better to leave it until tomorrow. Yoke will easily be 27cm deep at end of charts and will be close to the end of that third skein. Would really like to find that fourth skein! Maybe tomorrow.
24 sep - just 7 rows of chart to go. Yay.
23 sep - row 28 of chart done. Am using third skein but don’t know where fourth is …
22 sep - just over halfway through the yoke. Have I used two skeins so far or three?? Regardless, will finish colourwork and then change to hanks for body and sleeves so that there is no potential tonal change bw skeins/hanks.
19 sep - finished a skein on round 47 of neckline ribbing. 52 rounds of 1x1 ribbing done. Then one round of purl. Tried Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind-off but possibly too loose? Redo jssbo more snugly, or regular cast-off nice and loosely?
17 sep - second attempt at neck ribbing. Picked up 90 sts first time, 108 this time. 15 rounds knit.
11 sep - finished first try at yoke yesterday but concerned that neck edge was too tight. Redid yoke today w slight changes, picked up shoulder sts on a right side row. Worked neckline incrs as short rows, 2 extra sts per row (in addition to sleeve cap incrs).
9 sep 21 - lulu’s birthday. Finally got curious enough to cast on. Done row 17. Exhausted.

26 May 21 - 4mm swatch for Finn wool, then moved into practice colourwork in the bo peep 8ply (but difft colour bc where on earth is the dark brown that I was considering for Geiger??)
10 aug - found it in the unpacking! and have bought more of the fairfield finn to have enough for a sweater.
