• old norwegian cast on. onerous
• had to hold the landscape double, the country craft is really bulky
• unfortunately, both yarns are really old and dry and snap very easily, the landscape more so. i hope they are ok as knitted fabric.
• didn’t do striped cuff bc didn’t want to bother w jogs

5 aug - yay, hand done
4 aug - row 27 done. Quite some trouble today with the yarn breaking, particularly in rows around thumb opening; head to rip back and reknit a couple of times bc of stitches breaking.
3 aug - started colourwork on second mitten. Done half of row 15, ready to put thumb gusset on holding thread.
5 jun - first mitten complete
4 jun 2020 - finished left mitt except for thumb. used 67gm of country craft, 35gm of landscape so far.
