modifications

• knit in the round
• increased head to only 22sts
• used contrast yarn for ears
• stuffed w wool roving
• knitted arms and legs in the round on dpns a bit longer than the pattern called for. didn’t stuff them.
• at the end of the dark brown, arranged the 8 sts onto 2 needles, 4 per needle and did k2tog across (like a 3-needle bind off but without casting off).
• in the contrast brown knit the ‘hands’ and ‘feet’ flat in st st for 8 rows. after casting off, attached the thread at the edge of the cast-off back to the wrist.
• tail is 2-st i-cord; fed the end back through the tail and tightened it up to make the curl.

30 jan 14 - finished!!

27 jan 14 - converting it into the round. Not compensating for seam sts bc really, it’s so small already. Increased head to only 22sts. used contrast yarn for ears too.
