Crochet Provisional cast on

20 apr - hand finished
19 apr - 32 rows of mitt 2 complete.
18 apr - have knit 4 rows pivot fold over row and 4 more rows. Then knit live sts from prov cast on together w sts on needle. Is that what I did last time??
1 feb - sewed down live sts yesterday. Knit thumb. Weighs 26gm.
28 jan - finished length of mitt. Need to sew down the live sts and knit the thumb. 26gm left so assume has taken 24gm so far. Could the yarn for the thumb weigh just 1gm? Might knit the thumb from a separate ball, just to avoid possible extra ends later. Although this yarn is probably spit feltable.
28 jan - thumb gusset done. Increases - \ / cast on 1 st using backward loop cast on, knit 3 rows
27 jan - knitting and reading, reading and knitting - they’re 14 cm long! 32 rows.
26 jan 2017 - lace section at wrist complete and 6 rows plain.
