The Red Heart Super Saver Solids used in this blanket softened up with a light steam blocking and machine wash and dry.

I finished the blanket with a round of single crochet stitches (making three sc’s in holes in each “point”) and then a round of slip stitches in every sc stitch. I do like the smooth and simple finish on a baby boy blanket.

When starting this blanket I was a little worried it was too bright and was hesitant to give it as a gift. Now that it’s all finished I’d give it as a gift with no hesitation. I love it.
