I wanted mine a little longer and less wide, so the modifications I made were:

Began by chaining 121 (instead of 91)

I did not make as many rows in the middle section.

My finished scarf measures approximately 7 inches wide, and 35 inches in circumference.

If I were to do this again, I’d use a yarn that drapes more. The designer used Lion Brand’s Heartland - I imagine that provides a softer, more drapey cowl.
