I need to get better photos of JUST the cape.
- It ended up weight about 13 lbs. I used grommets and chain/hooks for the clasp but still had to hold it so it wouldn’t choke me. Made the hood SLIGHTLY too heavy. That’s couture for you.

5/5 - 5/6 - cape (might be too long in front) Blocking Sun night.

Cape base restarted and finished/blocking 5/8.

Used yarn held double and K hook. Increased 4x each row, alternating ends.

Used LB Vanna’s Choice for the hood base and cotton for the rest of the cape base.

Used the same edging as the skirt.

Lined the hood and the cape with double-sided gold fabric.

Sewed feathers on one by one.
