Knitting this was surprisingly tedious for me. However, I love the finished product - it has just the right amount of frump. The reverse side of the fabric is really nice too.

I changed the neck ribbing by adding on a few rows. I did this in order to keep my buttonhole spacing consistent - all my buttonholes are on knit sections of the horizontal rib, with 11 horizontal ribs between them.

I really probably only used 7 balls of Calmer, but began the neck rib with a new ball, just in case.

A sudden flash of genius at the end inspired me to sew the buttons on with silver thread, giving it just the slightest glint. Or shimmer, if you will …
