Couldn’t resist this pattern, it’s so cute. I’m taking into account what other knitters have said about this hat turning out very small, and I’m reconfiguring the pattern.
I’m using a total of 8 colours, to use up leftovers.
Cast on 124 sts with 2.75 mm needles (with hindsight, 3 mm needles would have given a bit more stretch).
12 rows of corrugated rib.
Changed to 3.25 mm needles and increased to 168 sts.
Border pattern worked (repeated 8 times).
Increased to 189 sts.
Body pattern worked (repeated 9 nines).
Decreased to 168 sts.
Border pattern worked again .
Decreased to 147 sts.
Top pattern worked (as in original pattern).
i-cord loop to finish.
