As I have tighter hands, two strands of 10ply worsted yarns were held together with 8mm and 6mm hooks for those shoes to achieve the same gauge as the pattern. Single strand of the same white yarn was crocheted for shoe laces. Circles and stars made of felted synthetic fabric were sewn on the shoes by hand. Gift for a 1-year-old baby.
