I’ve spent hours at thrift stores looking for the perfect cream, cabled sweater, to no avail. When I saw Ausable on knitty, I knew it was the sweater I’ve always dreamed of! It required the perfect cream colored yarn, so I went with Beaverslide. I knew from the swatch that after blocking, the yarn transforms from wool into an actual cloud. Like marshmallowy, soft, squishy cloud. I likely won’t take the sweater off all winter.
