This is such an easy and quick pattern! Very interesting shape, with simple stitches that are very textural. I’m biased because my friend designed it, but I loved knitting this pattern!
Using bulky yarn and 10.5 needles, the shawl came out more like a scarf, or cowl. A scowl, if you will (thanks, Lisa!). I love the size, it will be perfect under a winter coat.
I added an extra row of eyelets at the end, including three extra knitted rows after the third eyelet row. Then I bound off using a picot thusly: CO2, BO5. After binding off 5, you move the stitch from your right needle to the left needle, and then cable cast on 2.
