Such a fun knit!

I am using the a/m yarn even though it is stated as a DK. I was spot on with the gauge on the 2.5 mm needles. I wanted a cowl/messy bun hat that would keep me warm and the fabric is perfect, not too thick and not too thin.

I also cheated with the i-cord and used a Prym knitting mill. The pattern says to knit a three stitch i-cord but the knitting mill makes a four stitch i-cord and I also made it a bit longer than stated, so the total yardage used is therefore more than what is really needed.

I still have the washing and blocking to do.

Yarn used approximately:
MC (brown) - 55 g/220 m
CC1 (purple) - 6 g/24 m
CC2 (beige) - 5 g/20 m
I-cord (purple) - 5 g/20 m

So 71 g/284 m of soft fluffy goodness to wear this winter!
